The MMDA people are giving talks on “Earthquake and Landslide Search and Rescue Orientation Course” at the SC Training Center, Centennial Building, Faura, Manila beginning today until Wednesday, February 12, 2020. In his short message, the Chief Justice thanked the attendees for their participation and said he was hopeful that the activity would be helpful in their respective workplaces and residences. “The programs are worthwhile and, as I said, in my Ten-Point Program, I will always think of the welfare of the employees. I would always give to you as long you continue to also give to us [Judiciary] through your hard work.  With that, I hope that you will listen to the lectures because the lectures are very good,” said the Chief. The orientation course, organized by the Office of Administrative Office-Employee Training and Development Division, in coordination with the Supreme Court Ladies’ Circle (SCLC) headed by CA Justice Peralta, aims to equip participants with the knowledge on safety measures and procedures in cases of disasters and emergencies, as well as to instill the know-how and confidence should these events occur.
