CJ Bersamin Pays Tribute to Lower Court Employees

Chief Justice Lucas P. Bersamin extols lower court employees saying that the Judiciary cannot function without them when he graced the 1st Philippine Association of Court Employees-National Capital Judicial Region (PACE-NCJR) Summit held at the Makati Session Hall of the New Makati City Hall on July 15, 2019. Speaking on the Summit’s theme about fiscal management and the Code of Conduct for Court Employees, the Chief Justice urges all participants to apply what they have learned to “better serve our people, our common master.” He also assured the participants that since his appointment as Chief Justice, he has striven to augment their salaries and benefits justified under the law, as recommended by the Supreme Court’s Fiscal Management and Budget Office. The Summit is envisioned to reinforce the fiscal management skills and proper conduct of court employees in the Regional Trial Courts, Metropolitan Trial Courts, Office of  the Clerks of Court and of PACE Chapter Officers in Metro Manila. (Photo and caption courtesy of the Public Information Office)
