CJ Bersamin Receives Certificate of Appreciation from SC PRAISE Committee

Chief Justice Lucas P. Bersamin is presented a Certificate of Appreciation by the Supreme Court Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (SC PRAISE) Committee chaired by Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief Administrative Officer Atty. Maria Carina M. Cunanan shortly after the Chief Justice’s last official flag ceremony at the SC courtyard in Faura, Manila on October 14, 2019. Chief Justice Bersamin is being recognized for his “vision for the Judiciary and the legal profession, and his keenness to achieve his four-point agenda in such a short period of time,” “commitment and dedication to public service by insisting on professionalism of court officials and employees,” “undeniable wisdom and acuity, as best exemplified by his having penned the Best Decision both in Criminal and Civil Cases,” “trademark generosity, compassion, and genuine concern for the welfare of all employees and personnel,” and “humility and kindness that make him a well-loved and well-respected leader”

Chief Justice Bersamin reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70 on October 18, 2019, capping his almost 32 years of government service.
