
The Supreme Court of the Philippines and the Philippine Judicial Academy (PhilJA) in partnership with the Ateneo Law School and the Ateneo de Manila – Department of Economics and in cooperation with the British Embassy sponsored the “Roundtable Discussion on Law and Economics” with the theme “Courts and the Economy” on April 19, 2007, at the CAP-John Hay Trade and Cultural Center, Camp John Hay Manor, Baguio City. The occasion included the ceremonial presentation and turn-over to the Supreme Court of the Reference Manual for Capacity Building on Law and Economic Development Issues for the Philippine Judiciary and the launching of the Center for International Economic Law of the Ateneo Law School.
