The Supreme Court En Banc, during its session today, 3 November 2020, acted on the following matters in its agenda, among others, in the following manner:
- The Court approved the application for disability retirement of Justice Priscilla Baltazar-Padilla effective today, 3 November 2020. No other details were provided by the
- On the petitions questioning Republic Act No. 11479, or the Anti- Terrorism Act of 2020 (ATA), the Court scheduled the preliminary conference of the same on 26 November 2020. The Court has yet to schedule the date for the oral
- The Court denied the Motion for Reconsideration dated October 22, 2020 filed by the Office of the Solicitor General, praying that:
- the Resolution dated September 15, 2020 be reconsidered and set aside; and (b) a new Resolution be issued granting the OSG’s letter-requests dated September 11, 2020 seeking copies of the SALNs and/or ancillary documents and information. This is in connection with A.M. No. 09-8-6-SC (Re: Request for Copies of the Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth and Personal Date Sheet or Curriculum Vitae of the Justices of the Supreme Court and Officers and Employees of the Judiciary).
