Chief Justice Peralta Leads Calamba City HoJ Inauguration

Chief Justice Diosdado M. Peralta leads the inauguration of the new Hall of Justice of Calamba City. Joining the Chief Justice in the ribbon cutting ceremony are (from right) Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez, City Mayor Justin Marc Chipeco, and Calamba Rep. Joaquin Chipeco, Jr.. Also in photo are Deputy Court Administrator Raul Villanueva, Regional Trial Court (RTC) Executive Judge Glenda Mendoza-Ramos, and Municipal Trial Court in Cities (MTCC) Executive Judge Leah Abad. The four-storey building was built by the city government. It houses all the second-level and first-level courts of the City of Calamba. In his speech, Chief Justice Peralta, thanked the city government for its generosity, saying that “it is a manifestation of your city and the Judiciary’s common vision of a conducive work environment for our judges and court personnel that will better facilitate the effective, efficient, and responsive administration of justice in these challenging times.” He added that he hoped that the new HoJ “will be instrumental in creating a sense of patriotism in those who will walk its halls – that just like our national hero Dr. Jose Protacio Rizal, all those who work and set foot in it will uphold righteousness in their respective duties, confront injustice, and respect the dignity of every Filipino.” For his part, Mayor Chipeco acknowledged City Administrator Allan Zacarias and all who helped in the construction of the HoJ.
