The festivities will kick off with an online forum series to be streamed live via the Philippine Commission on Women’s Facebook page starting March 3 until 31, 2021. Also lined up is ZOOMinars for Women Empowerment, a series of online seminars on the laws protecting women; and Quarantflick, where the participants will be treated to a free screening of Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita, where a Q and A with the director, Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, will ensue after the screening.
All employees are encouraged to wear purple on March 1, 2021 to mark the celebration. The celebration of Women’s Month is a continued campaign of the SC that glorifies the contribution of women in national development and the persistent effort to empower women.
