December 21, 2021

“If one thing has become vividly clear to me in all our efforts to adapt and meet the challenges of this pandemic, it is this: that technology is the driver, technology is the platform, on which our processes must run,” emphasized Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo in his keynote message during the online induction ceremony of the 2021-2023 new set of officers and new members of the San Pablo Bar Association, Inc. on Monday, December 20, 2021.

Chief Justice Gesmundo, who is himself from San Pablo City, Laguna, likewise urged members of the Bar to invest more knowledge on the skills and technology that will complement and support the programs

of the Supreme Court. He said: “Indeed, the results which the Court seeks to achieve can only be sustained by a responsible and forward-thinking Bar, and this is where lawyer associations, such as you, will play a crucial part.”

The Chief Justice also took the opportunity to thank the City Government of San Pablo, led by Mayor Loreto C. Amante, for donating

1.5 hectares of property in Barangay San Gregorio to the Supreme Court as the site for a new hall of justice in the city. The San Pablo Bar Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization of legal professionals from San Pablo City, Laguna. Its purpose is to improve and assist in the administration of justice, foster and maintain integrity, and cultivate among its members the spirit of cordiality. ###
