“I exhort my fellow judges and the workers of the Judiciary in Quezon City to continue serving our people with dedication and sincerity,” thus said Chief Justice Lucas P. Bersamin during the Inauguration and Blessing ceremonies of the new Quezon City Hall of Justice (HOJ)-Annex on May 2, 2019 at the QC Hall Complex, Brgy. Central, Quezon City.
“That is the only way by which the Judiciary can express its appreciation and gratitude for the generosity,” the chief magistrate added, referring to the initiative of the local government of Quezon City to construct the new HOJ. “The people of Quezon City expect nothing less.”
Constructed primarily for the use of Regional Trial Courts, the new HOJ building can accommodate 52 court salas and features an integrated data infrastructure for the management of eCourts and rooms with video link or live link equipment needed during family court hearings.
The QC HOJ Annex will also house a business center, a day care center, a library, an office for the Philippine Judges Association, and a waiting area for the Department of Justice.
