Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo reiterates the importance of dignity and integrity of every man and woman in the Judiciary.
Speaking during the blessing of the new office building of the Court of Appeals – Mindanao Station at the Xavier University Grade School – Macasandig Campus in Cagayan de Oro City, Chief Justice stressed: “The majesty of the Court lies in the integrity of our magistrates and the wisdom of their decisions, they ever mindful of the impact these decisions have not only on the parties involved but also on society and the country, in general. The majesty of the Court shines brightest in our devotion to render justice swiftly, without fear or favor.”
Chief Justice Gesmundo also shared the Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations 2022-2027, the institutional blueprint of the Supreme Court En Banc’s plans and programs for the “delivery of responsive and real-time justice.”
The CA – Mindanao Station will temporarily hold office at the new building as the Judiciary has yet to construct its permanent office at the six-hectare lot in Tabunao, Indahag, the future site of the Cagayan de Oro Judicial Complex.
