First Regional Roll Signing in Cagayan de Oro City Now Underway

The first regional roll signing in Mindanao for the successful 2020/2021 Bar candidates began today, May 26, and will continue until May 28, 2022 at the Mallberry Suites Business Hotel in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental.
The Supreme Court previously announced three regional venues with respective schedules for the signing of the Roll of Attorneys of the successful Bar examinees. The first batch of signing for those who chose to sign in the National Capital Region and Luzon was held from May 4 to May 24, 2022 at the Supreme Court in Padre Faura, Manila. Another batch of Bar passers will have their roll signing in the Supreme Court from June 6 to June 17, 2022.
Those who opted to sign the roll in the Visayas will sign at the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Building in Cebu City from May 30 to June 3, 2022.
Per the Notice of the Office of the Bar Confidant Re: Roll Signing in Cagayan De Oro City and Cebu City dated May 23, 2022, only those who attended the May 2, 2022 oath-taking ceremony at the Mall of Asia Arena shall be permitted to sign the Roll of Attorneys.
The successful Bar examinees are allowed to have a maximum of two guests. Likewise, all are required to wear formal attire and face masks. Those who are fully vaccinated must present their vaccination card upon entry. If they are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, they must present a negative antigen test result taken in a Department of Health-accredited facility within 48 hours before their date of signing.
A total of 8,241 out of 11,402 examinees, or 72.28%, passed the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations held last February 4 and 6. It was the first ever regionalized and digitalized Bar Examinations in Philippine history.
