Justice Antonio T. Kho, Jr.
Justice Antonio T. Kho, Jr. joined the Supreme Court as its 193rd Associate Justice on February 24, 2022.
Before his appointment to the Supreme Court, Justice Kho served as Commissioner of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) until his retirement in February 2022. Prior to his appointment as COMELEC Commissioner, Justice Kho served as Undersecretary of the Department of Justice from September 2016 to July 15, 2018, until he was appointed to the COMELEC on July 16, 2018.
Justice Kho was engaged in the private practice of law for more than 20 years. He also taught at the San Beda College of Law, Arellano Law School, and then De La Salle University College of Law (now De La Salle University Tañada-Diokno School of Law).
Justice Kho earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce from the De La Salle University in 1986. He received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the San Beda College of Law in 1991, placing 10th in the Bar Examinations held that year. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1992.
