Justice Singh Meets with UN Office on Drugs and Crime

Souza, Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Officer; Dr. Milos Stojanovic, Drug Control and Crime Prevention Officer; Ms. Amielle Del Rosario, Terrorism Prevention Programme Officer; and Atty. Nicole Gabrielle V. Kalingking, also from the Office of Associate Justice Singh.
During the meeting, Justice Singh expressed gratitude to the United Nations for being one of the main development partners of the Court and welcomed future partnerships with them. She also briefly tackled the Court’s Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations 2022-2027 (SPJI). Atty. Yarcia expressed support for the SPJI and offered assistance for the Court’s programs and initiatives.
Other topics discussed during the meeting were key issues in the criminal justice sector, such as human rights, counter-terrorism, plea bargaining in drugs cases, and health services for Persons Deprived of Liberty. (Courtesy of the Supreme Court Public Information Office)
