9,196 Candidates Complete Second Day of 2022 Bar Exams

On the second day of the 2022 Bar Examinations, 9,196 bar examinees took and completed the tests in Criminal Law (and Practical Exercises and Commercial Law, equivalent to a 91.90% turnout, on November 13, 2022.
The number was out of 10,006 applicants who participated in the venue selection and were assigned to their respective local testing centers. On the first day of the 2022 Bar Examinations on November 9, 2022, 9,207 candidates completed the tests on Political Law and International Law (with related Tax Principles) and Labor Law.
On Day 3, November 16, 2022, the morning examination will be on Civil Law I while the afternoon examination will be on Civil Law II (and Practical Exercises). On Day 4, November 20, 2022, it will be Remedial Law I in the morning and Remedial Law II (with Basic Tax Remedies) and Legal Ethics in the afternoon.
Supreme Court Associate Justice and 2022 Bar Examinations Committee Chairperson Alfredo Benjamin S. Caguioa made another round of visits to the local testing centers in the National Capital Region. Apart from the Ateneo de Manila University in Katipunan, he also visited the testing centers in San Beda University and De La Salle University in Manila, and in Manila Adventist College in Pasay City.
Justice Caguioa, who monitored the conduct of the 2022 Bar Examinations held in 14 local testing centers nationwide from the Command Center at the Ateneo de Manila University, said that the second day was likewise generally peaceful and orderly. He expressed optimism that the situation will carry on to the last two Bar Exam days.
Joining Justice Caguioa in the inspection of the venues were Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo (University of Nueva Caceres); Senior Associate Justice Marvic M.V.F. Leonen (St. Louis University); Justice Ramon Paul L. Hernando (De La Salle University); Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier (De La Salle University – Lipa); Justice Mario V. Lopez (University of San Carlos and University of Cebu); (Justice Samuel H. Gaerlan (De La Salle University – Manila); and Justice Ricardo R. Rosario (Manila Adventist College).
