Justices Inting, Lopez, and Kho attend World Conference on Constitutional Justice

Justices Henri Jean Paul B. Inting, Jhosep Y. Lopez, and Antonio T. Kho, Jr. represent the Supreme Court of the Philippines in the 5th Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice (“World Conference”) which began today, October 4, 2022, in Bali, Indonesia.
Held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center, the event gathers 119 Constitutional Courts and Councils and Supreme Courts in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia/Oceania, and Europe. The World Conference aims to promote constitutional justice through constitutional review including human rights case-law as a key element for democracy, the protection of human rights, and the rule of law.
The World Conference, the main purpose of which is to facilitate judicial dialogue between constitutional judges on a global scale, pursues its objectives through regular congresses, and seminars, by sharing experiences and case law. (Courtesy of the Supreme Court Public Information Office)
