Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo received a courtesy visit from the Korean Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Lee Sang-Hwa, on Monday, April 1, 2024, at the En Banc Conference Room of the Supreme Court in Ermita, Manila.
The meeting was marked by an engaging discussion on potential collaborations between the Philippines and South Korea, particularly in the realm of technology in the Judiciary, focusing on cybersecurity capacity building and the exchange of best practices in managing an e-court system.
The dialogue was a testament to the staunch commitment of the Philippine Judiciary to leverage technology for the advancement of judicial processes in the country.
Also present were Court Administrator Raul B. Villanueva, Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief Technology Officer Atty. Jed Sherwin G. Uy, and Atty. Antonio Ceasar R. Manila from the Office of the Chief Justice.
