National Task Force Against COVID-19 Pays Courtesy Call on Chief Justice Gesmundo

Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo is paid a courtesy call by National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 officials headed by Chief Implementer and vaccine czar Secretary Carlito G. Galvez, Jr. earlier today at the SC En Banc Conference Room.
Also in attendance is Senior Associate Justice Estela M. Perlas-Bernabe, who spearheaded the SC’s request for the inclusion of Judiciary personnel in the A4 priority group of the country’s vaccination plan.
During the visit, Chief Justice Gesmundo and Senior Associate Justice Bernabe expressed their utmost gratitude for the NTF’s assistance in the implementation of the Judiciary’s vaccination program and in addressing the concerns of court personnel with regard to the ongoing pandemic.
The Chief Justice said that the vaccination of employees “stabilized the anxiety” of the court personnel in the performance of their work amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Other representatives from the NTF were sub-task force on current operations head Assistant Secretary Wilben M. Mayor, Dir. Carissa D.L. Cruz, and Dir. Jana Jill L. Gallardo. They were joined by SC officials Deputy Clerk of Court and Chief Administrative Officer Atty. Maria Carina M. Cunanan, SC Medical Services Chief Dr. Prudencio P.
